Flavor Of The Week…

Filed under: News — admin @ 10:34 pm

While some kids seem to have an interest in one thing for a long period of time, our Asperger kid changes his interest frequently. Let’s see, this year alone he started out being interested in living trusts, followed a couple weeks later by tax lien sales. About a month later we put tile in the kitchen and all of a sudden he bacame interested in flooring. While into that he had a slight interest in home floor plans for new houses but that passed quickly. The whole home improvement thing seemed to move on, with the exception of a three week period where he was really into air compressors. Although he is not very social he got onto this kick of being concerned about the education of his younger siblings, and even felt that the babies might need child care to help stimulate their minds. For the past month he has had an interest in satellite radio, no surprise there, and forsaking his glasses for contact lenses.

I suggested he might like to collect hot wheels cars, but I guess that is a toy and toys are for kids.
